Project RYThM ~ Reaching. Youth. Through. Music.
Music should not be a privilege but a right for people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that music is fundamental to the pursuit of happiness in all classes and cultures, and it can be an especially powerful expression to people facing hard times. And as such, we are committed to using music as an instrument to empower disadvantaged youth in our local communities. Though our social endeavors with Project RYThM (Reaching Youth Through Music), we engage youth in the collaborative and creative process of making music, and to help them establish a sense of identity and responsibility in their communities.

Mission
Project RYThM is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to using music as an instrument for youth empowerment by engaging youth from disadvantaged communities in hands on music production and performance sessions, music education, mentoring, community service, and other custom programs.
Vision
Project RYThM seeks to harness the transformative power of collaboration and innovation generated by the creative process. We believe this approach can instill a sense of personal and social responsibility that will empower youth to make positive life choices and provide them with marketable skills. We are inspired to mobilize a collective of individuals and organizations dedicated to using music to uplift and empower.
Description
Project RYThM partners with recording studios, musicians, and other community organizations to offer youth of diverse backgrounds access to the music production process. Project RYThM provides an environment for youth to explore music, develop technical skills, engage collaborative practices, and experience the success of setting and achieving goals. Project RYThM seeks to provide an outlet for creative expression that will channel the power of music to communicate to, uplift, and inspire young people to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Project RYThM and select partners use their resources to create inspiring, fun, and life-changing programs that connect youth to music through a variety of experiences.
