The Music Lab is our recording studio, where we utilize both vintage and modern recording equipment (gear list here). Our Brooklyn-based studio grew out of a community of passionate musicians and recroding and mixing engineers over the last decade. Today, we work within all styles of music—there isn’t a genre we won’t touch. Here’s proof: we’ve recorded, edited or mixed artists as diverse as M.I.A., Roberta Flack, the Cool Kids, Hard Fi, Jadakiss, Illinois, Jet, Dead Prez, DJ Sasha, Jazz Apero, and worked with organizations like the Robin Hood Foundation and the Brooklyn Historic Foundation.
