The crafty cats behind the magic.
Founder / Chancellor of Creative Direction
~Jamin Gilbert~-
Jamin Gilbert is the Creative Director and sole owner of ishlab™ Music and ishlab™ iD. He founded ishlab in 2000, which has attracted an incredible roster of international names like Roberta Flack, Robin Hood Foundation, Jet, ESPN, Jadakiss, Asprey Holdings, M.I.A., and many more (see www.ishlab.com for full client list). It's in the studio that Jamin refined the art of distilling a musician's creative vision to an audience-addicting album - of turning concept into product, of translating. But it's perhaps his experience running ishlab Music - a full-service recording studio, production house, and music publishing, licensing, and supervision company - that truly sets Jamin apart. He has also been a DJ for celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Daniel Craig and Anna Wintour as well as for companies such as Christian Dior, the Hearst Corporation and more. As a music producer, he's collaborated with some of the industry's most talented names, from DJ Sasha to Stevie Wonder. Jamin holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Steinhardt Music Business and Music Technology program at New York University.
